Sam "Shades" Nowell

Sam “Shades” Nowell is a vocalist and performer with a strong foundation in both live performance and music industry training. A graduate of Bradley University with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Business, he brings professionalism, adaptability, and stage awareness to every project he joins. Originally from Bettendorf, Iowa, Nowell spent the last four years cutting his teeth in the Quad Cities live music scene, performing regularly with a variety of working bands. His experience includes playing with MOTHERSHIP, Brian Skow, Stiky, Whiskey High, and the Machine Gun Willie Band, giving him the versatility to move comfortably across different styles, setlists, and crowd dynamics. Now based in Las Vegas, Sam “Shades” Nowell pairs a Midwest work ethic with a polished, contemporary stage presence. His blend of formal education, real-world band experience, and reliable professionalism makes him a strong fit for cover bands, original projects, and event-focused entertainment seeking a confident and capable front man.
